Ashleigh Hughes

Annemarie Abbondanzo

Ashleigh is an environmental scientist with a background in ecological restoration, environmental permitting, and natural resource assessment. Ashleigh’s work combines field-based science with technical reporting, data interpretation, and project coordination, supporting projects from field assessment through regulatory review and documentation. After first joining Ecosystem Services as an intern, Ashleigh returns to the team with broader experience in environmental consulting and project management.

Ashleigh is particularly interested in the complex relationships that shape freshwater ecosystems, approaching restoration with an appreciation for how changes within a system can influence the organisms, processes, and the communities that depend on them.
