Kip Mumaw of Ecosystem Services is a scheduled panelist at the 2019 Baywide Stormwater Partner’s Retreat, hosted by the Chesapeake Stormwater Network in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
Kip is among a group of panelists including Shannon Lucas of KCI, Josh Running of Stantec, Joe Berg from Biohabitats, and Chris Becraft of Underwood & Associates. This panel will be exploring topics central to envisioning the future of urban stream corridor projects beyond current protocols and design, and to consider many questions including; What will the next generation of stream restoration projects look like and how will they be designed?
Kip will also be included in a panel alongside Ashley Traut of Blue Water Baltimore, and Stavros Calos, a Water Resources Engineer for Albemarle County, Virginia. This panel will focus on stormwater challenges faced by Businesses, Churches and Institutes, and how to address these issues via public/private partnerships that can be accessed to deliver stormwater best management practices, or BMP’s.
