Ecosystem Services staff recently enjoyed attending the 2017 Environment Virginia Symposium at the VMI Center for Leadership & Ethics April 4-6 in Lexington, Virginia. Ecosystem Services’ Principal Biologist, Brian Wagner co-presented with River Works’ Vice President of Project Development, Phillip Todd on Stream Restoration for Nutrient Banking. The presentation discussed the evolution and current practice of stream restoration for producing nutrient credits using the Arey Farm Stream Restoration Nutrient Bank as a case study example. Thanks to the VMI Center for Leadership & Ethics for hosting the event. Our staff enjoyed the opportunity to share our experiences and exchange ideas with other industry leaders.
