Our work is primarily in the mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions and we specialize in ecological restoration, environmental banking, stormwater management, and regulatory permitting. Qualifications:

  • B.S. or Technical Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline with 2 to 5 years of experience
  • Experience conducting Waters of the S. Delineations and/or equivalent professional training
  • Must be proficient in ArcGIS
  • Familiarity with Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act
  • Familiarity with Chesapeake Bay TMDL and local TMDL process
  • Familiarity with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permits
  • Familiarity with Virginia mitigation banking permitting and field procedures
  • Experience with Section 401/404 permitting
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Must have excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Musts have examples of work and technical writing
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform Clean Water Act Section 401/404 delineation and permitting
  • Conduct stream and wetland field assessments
  • Perform ArcGIS map production
  • Perform ecological monitoring
  • Prepare technical reports and editing
  • Prepare RFP/RFQ responses and grant funding applications
  • Technical project task management
  • Construction oversight for ecological restoration projects
  • Assist with marketing and business development when requested
